Nothing was set up here, this is actually what I do when I color.

There are two more open boxes of colored gleesticks (read: pencils) on the floor, as well as inking pens, pencils, erasers, and markers (which will NOT be used on this piece as they give me massive Fear).

This is an in-progress image, f'ing duh.

I use hard lead colored pencils like Laurentiens and I color really really hard to lay down a base color. Then I use other colors overtop for shading, then I use the original base color like a colorless blender marker to smooth the grain out of the shading, and I use Prisma Scholars (not Prismas, they're way too soft and waxy) for whites, red shadows, and blacks. The white also doubles as a blender on occassion. :>

Dude that looks ORGASMIC so far. Seriously. o__o That HAND is awesome and I love the hair and just. Christ. x___x LOVE. :heart::heart:

And btw, how much do Laurentien colored pencils cost? My Prismas are getting irritating and I'm looking to try out different brands.. And yeah. x.x

Maybe 20 bucks if you're in an overpriced art store?

You can pick up Laurentiens in the school junk section of Wal-Mart. xD
